  • Description
Canada geese that feed in frozen weather will lay down and later feed on the frozen ground they just melted. For hours they will feed, move to another frozen spot and take a nap between thawing their feeding spots. When the weather gets colder and the season presents more hunting pressure, sleeper goose decoy shells will communicate an area is content and secure to flocks passing by. As the greatest benefit, these sleeper goose decoys stack for compact space efficiency and allow you the opportunity for a larger decoy spreads.

Late season must

Must have for the late season. The birds really key in on these when it’s cold. They stack great saving space in the trailer. Great paint that is durable with no shine. Out of all our decoys these take most beating. Always on the floor getting stuff stacked on top of them, but they still look great after many years.

Portable and Affordable

So happy to be using these decoys, they stack amazing and stand up to the harsh abuse of hunting late season birds in the cold and ice. Awesome for a filler decoy in the field or along the river banks in the late season!

Space Savers

As someone who routinely hunts solo and out of a kayak, space is at a premium (along with set up times)! With how little room these take up, it is never an issue to bring several (or a dozen) along in the kayak. Regardless of where we are in the season, I always have a few of these shells with me (along with a couple of Lesser Floaters). I like setting these out as confidence decoys from opening day until closing day. They add realism to the spread and help create boundaries to "zones" in the spread as well. Get you some!
